This is going to eventually be an app that watches a directory structure and auto tags and renames MP3 files.
For OS X:
brew install echoprint-codegen
Echo Nest Musical Fingerprint (TODO)
First, refer to the docs for earworm (DEPRECATE?)
Then install it locally:
$ gem install argos
TODO: Write usage instructions here
You'll need an EchoNest API Key which you can configure in a .argos file
api_key: YOUR_API_KEY_HERE
- Fork it
- Create your feature branch (
git checkout -b my-new-feature) - Commit your changes (
git commit -am 'Added some feature') - Push to the branch (
git push origin my-new-feature) - Create new Pull Request
- Add watchr
- Highline for disambiguity?
I wanted a cool name that somehow related to tagging. So I though of the tagging of animals to track migration patterns. A quick Wikipedia search led me to a satellite named ARGOS that tracks environmental data and animal behavior.
Its probably a bit of a stretch, but what Gem names aren't these days?
