report all used files in the parsed version

I haven't checked this, but I bet if a log file opens and immediately closes a file, that file doesn't appear in the parsed version of the log. That's a shame. We should add a `NoMessage` or similar thing that we can put as a placeholder so that the file at least appears in the tree.
