[Bug]: "appearance": "system" does nothing

Hi, I'm not sure if that is my fault, I followed the documentation, but the appearance doesn't seems to work.

Steps to Reproduce

1. run npx @docmd/core init
2. run npm install
3. set browser to dark mode
4. run npx @docmd/core build
5. open doc
   And horrible flashbang called light theme.

Expected Behavior

Dark theme!

Seems DOCMD_DEFAULT_MODE needs to be replaced by DOCMD_APPEARANCE

Confirmed and fixed in 0.8.7.

The theme initialisation logic was reading an old configuration key, causing appearance: "system" to fall back to light mode. There was also an issue where a stale theme preference in localStorage could override the configured appearance unexpectedly.

Both issues have been fixed, and appearance: "system" now correctly follows the operating system theme as expected.

Closing this for now. If the issue persists, please reopen it.
