Exceptions

The DonDominioResponse object can throw PHP Exceptions to help you catch errors returned from the API. The DonDominio object may also throw Exceptions when an error is encountered.

Catching exceptions

Catch Exceptions as usual with PHP:

$dondominio = new DonDominio(array(
	'apiuser' => '00000-XXX',
	'apipasswd' => 'XXXXXXXXXXXX'
));

try{
	$domainCheck = $dondominio->domain_check('notAValidDomain');
}catch(DonDominio_Error $e){
	die('Error found: ' . $e->getMessage());
}

You can also catch exceptions by type:

$dondominio = new DonDominio(array(
	'apiuser' => '00000-XXX',
	'apipasswd' => 'XXXXXXXXXXXX'
));

try{
	$domainCheck = $dondominio->domain_check('notAValidDomain');
}catch(DonDominio_InvalidDomainName $e){
	die('The domain name is not valid');
}

You can even catch more than one type of exception at the same time:

$dondominio = new DonDominio(array(

Available exceptions

All exception types inherit the DonDominio_Error exception type. Each different error code returned by the API will throw the corresponding exception. More information on error codes can be found on the online documentation of the API.
