Copy task ID or link from the task menu

There doesn't seem to be a way to copy a task's ID or a link to it from the app. The MCP server and local API both work off task IDs (mindwtr_get_task, GET /tasks/:id), but the only way I can see to get an ID is to list tasks through the API and match on the title. That makes it awkward to point an AI agent at one specific task, or to paste a reference into a note or chat.

It would help to have a "Copy ID" and/or "Copy link" option on a task, in the task menu or the editor. A link that opens the task in the app would be nicer, since it works for people as well as agents. A plain ID copy would still cover the agent case.

Added Copy task link and Copy task ID to the desktop and mobile task menus. Links open the matching task in a library that already contains it; they do not share access to your data. Please try opening a copied link from another app in the next release, both with Mindwtr running and closed.

Works great on desktop. On android, I didn't find the options. I did find a new Share button though that seems to copy entire task details

On Android, return to the task list and tap the task’s status badge (for example, Next or Inbox). Copy task link and Copy task ID are in that menu. If the badge is hidden, swipe the row right and long-press the revealed action button to open the same menu.

The editor’s Share button shares task details; it is separate from these copy actions. If the options are still missing, which Mindwtr version is shown in Settings → About on Android? They’re included in v1.3.6.
