Suggestions for features #52

Hey, thanks! Sorry I didn't see this earlier.
Absolutely, I could add something like this. I'm trying to think of the best way to integrate image generation that's extremely easy for people to use. I.E. comfyui is amazing, but not intuitive for someone who doesn't use it as a hobby.
This is on the back of my mind for sure. It probably won't make it into 0.4.0 but I can likely target 0.5.0
Yep this is planned at some point!
Someone else asked for this too. I'll try to add appdata directory configuration into 0.4.0
Lets revisit this at another time, it would require a lot of tinkering and I need to knock out other priorities first. |

I agree with some of the suggestions. As Scribble-bit said earlier, the thing about creating or modifying characters on that small screen can sometimes be tedious. Oh, and maybe having a preview of the Markdown would be nice.

We should start evaluating the existing roleplay apps, and see what kinds of standard features there are https://github.com/aichat-momo/AI-Chat/discussions/114#discussioncomment-15723287 |

Hi!
First, amazing project! I tried ST before, and it felt so, so cumbersome - unnecessarily so. SP feels like a breath of fresh air - having loads of fun with it, and living up to the "play more, tweak less" moto! :)
Since this is a space for discussion, I would like to add some ideas I had about features to add to the program (also, my pov is from a "normal" user. I'm not a developer, so, I have no idea how easy/difficult any of this would be!)
I read on the issues that adding image generation is on the cards, for the future! If that really comes to be, I would love for SP to be able to generate the default image of a new character! Just a checkbox, something like "Create the character image based on the description". On my mind, this task would be perfect if you could configure a basic prompt for it - a default "stylized, anime style, cartoon", etc (same way we can configure roleplay prompts)
Could we have more space for writing our chars? I mean physically on the screen, lol. I'm on desktop, so the creation area only ends up taking up less than 1/3 of the screen; feels a little claustrophobic when you are working on very long, detailed descriptions.
It's almost magical how png's can contain an entire character - I would love to be able to export my chars! Chars on png's are so whimsical, it's almost like a digital memory card :) the app does have a "export" button, but it doesn't seem to do anything atm? So maybe that's a planned feature!
Portability - the app doesn't need installation, but it does use the %appdata% folder - couldn't it be all self-contained inside his own folder? That way the program could truly be portable - you could carry an entire universe inside a thumb drive!
On that note - the app now opens the default browser; that's very very cool, one less clicking to do :) But! could we be able to point whatever browser we want to use? Or maybe turn it on/off? My idea would be to use it in conjunction with a portable firefox, chrome, etc.
Could we have groups for chars, and for chats?
Ty very much for reading!
