Summary

Since many users are taken to the SDK downloads page from the VS "Target framework not supported" dialog and then land on this article, it is important to create the right expectation with respect to Visual Studio.

This proposed doc change was prompted by external user feedback.

Looks good, but let's clean this up a bit.

Looks appropriate to me (the external user mentioned).

Actually a suggestion: could you add to the text a link to the download page for older versions of VS? This matters in some fairly common scenarios when a user has an option to build an open source project but the owners have been slow to upgrade from 4.5 (Wikipedia's AutoWikiBrowser is a current example). Signed, the external user.

Definitely makes sense. @IEvangelist @gewarren, what would you think about making "an older version of Visual Studio" link to https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/vs/older-downloads/ ?

Yes, @ladipro - that makes sense in this situation. Let's add the link.
