these are ongoing ports from internal code, right? (for observers -- we expect active development to migrate to Github in a few months)
if so, I guess reviews can be cursory, or possibly not at all.

@danmoseley Yep, just syncing from the internal changes. This syncing stuff is no fun, so I'm looking forward to primary development happening in GitHub. |
