I encountered the following error while trying to install the tool using dotnet tool install --global Microsoft.dotnet-interactive, and the installation failed.

Tool 'microsoft.dotnet-interactive' failed to update due to the following:
The settings file in the tool's NuGet package is invalid: Settings file 'DotnetToolSettings.xml' was not found in the package.
Tool 'microsoft.dotnet-interactive' failed to install. Contact the tool author for assistance.

I just installed 9.0.310 and still get this same problem. Argh! So frustrating. I had Polyglot notebooks working just fine and then went to open a folder and suddenly it feels it necessary to reinstall dotnet-interactive and now nothing works.

The latest version requires .NET 10.
