Xamarin Profiler fails when attempting to profile iOS application on Mac remote host

Steps to Reproduce

1. Pair to mac with iOS device connected from Visual Studio on a windows machine.
2. Build Xamarin iOS project.
3. Set build target as the iOS device you want to deploy on.
4. Run Xamarin Profiler from Visual Studio or as standalone application.
5. Start profiling.

Expected Behavior

The profiler should connect to the device and begin to profile the built application.

Actual Behavior

Profiler fails to start profiling.

Same for me. I'm running the latest (stable) VS 2019 Enterprise on a Windows machine and the Mac is running 10.15.7.
Building / Running our iOS app works normally.

Same here. VS 2019 Enterprise 16.8.6 and mac 10.15.7 and getting the following error message:
"An error occurred on client profiler4892stefa while executing a post for topic xp/1.6.10.15/start-profiling
Xamarin.Messaging.Exceptions.ReceiverNotFoundException: No receiver was found for topic xp/1.6.10.15/start-profiling"

Building/running apps works fine.

I see this issue is labeled 'external-xamarin-vs' som I take it this is not the right place for this issue? If so, can someone tell me where it should be posted to get some attention?
