Do you know if your bike has one of the locked down firmwares that released about a year ago? That could be a blocker to the SmartSpin2k receiving data. If your bike is affected, you may need to use the QZ Fitness app as a go-between to handle the unlock and relay your bike's metrics to SmartSpin2k. The developer published a blog post about his solution to the lock which you can read about here: https://robertoviola.cloud/2026/04/08/i-fixed-echelon-compatibility-in-qz-by-stealing-their-own-unlock/ |

@kreddad I believe I saw in a review that you were able to get this working on your own - care to share the code, or what you did to fix your problem? I'd love to see it! Thanks! |

Uh oh!

My setup is an Echelon Connect EX-15 with Bluetooth identifier ECHEX-15-02323047, bike firmware 41.04.04, and SmartSpin2K version 26.8.15. SmartSpin2K finds and saves the bike, but during the power/cadence test it stays at 0 W and 0 rpm even while the bike is powered on and I am pedaling. Could you please advise what I should check or change to get the power and cadence working? I can provide screenshots or logs if needed. Thank you.
