Mac menu bar not active

TreeLine Version 3.1.2+
Python: 3.7.6
Qt: 5.9.7
PyQt: 5.9.2
OS: Darwin-19.5.0-x86_64-i386-64bit

problem: after opening treeline from the terminal the menu bar (including File, Edit, View) is only usable when the focus was once in a non treeline window otherwise clicks on menu items are ignored (sub menus do not show).

Slightly new configuration but problem still there:

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a MacOS machine and don't know a lot about them.

I'll consider applying a simple patch if you can develop and thoroughly test it.
