0.3.0 is the stabilization/public-preview release for Codex Usage Tracker. The PyPI distribution is codex-usage-tracking, the import package remains codex_usage_tracker, and the CLI remains codex-usage-tracker.

Highlights:

  • Adds Trusted Publishing workflow for TestPyPI/PyPI.
  • Renames the PyPI/TestPyPI distribution to codex-usage-tracking.
  • Keeps the local-first privacy model, dashboard, CLI, MCP tools, and companion usage skills aligned for public preview.
  • Pins the MCP runtime launcher to the 0.3.0 release source commit.

Install after PyPI publication:

pipx install codex-usage-tracking
codex-usage-tracker setup
codex-usage-tracker serve-dashboard --open
