Regarding the issue of color display in iterm

I'm using the default color configuration for my iTerm.

This is the display effect when editing files using iterm with vim.
However, after configuring Dracula, the colors when editing files seem rather unappealing.

This is the display effect when editing files using iterm2 with vim.

After configuring Dracula, iterm2 looks very comfortable, but iterm looks rather awkward. How should I adjust the colors?

I think it would help to have the following more clearly:

• What is your Vim configuration RE Dracula, colorschemes, truecolor (termguicolors), etc? Ditto iTerm/2.
• Is your issue with iTerm/2 or Vim?
• Given that iTerm2 is the successor to iTerm, I'm not totally sure if it's reasonable to expect the former to work just like the latter.

I installed it in the following manner.

mkdir -p ~/.vim/pack/themes/start
cd ~/.vim/pack/themes/start
git clone https://github.com/dracula/vim.git dracula

cat > ~/.vim/vimrc << EOF
syntax enable
set termguicolors
colorscheme dracula
EOF

It seems unlikely to me that the "classic" or "legacy" iTerm 1 supports 24-bit color. How do things look in iTerm with 'termguicolors' turned off?

Cancel this setting. set termguicolors

Hm. I don't have access to iTerm at the moment. I'll move this issue to the Vim tracker, though, and if anyone can suggest a concrete solution I can provide feedback.
