PostgreSQL 18 compatibility with SFTPGo 2.7.0

Hi,

we are currently running SFTPGo 2.7.0 with PostgreSQL as the data provider in an OpenShift (Kubernetes) setup.

We received a request to upgrade PostgreSQL from version 16.8 to 18.x and would like to confirm compatibility before proceeding.

Could you please clarify:

• Is SFTPGo 2.7.0 officially compatible with PostgreSQL 18?
• Are there any known issues or limitations with PostgreSQL 18?
• Is there a recommended PostgreSQL version range for SFTPGo 2.7.0?
• Would upgrading to a newer SFTPGo version improve PostgreSQL compatibility?

I checked the documentation but could not find any explicit PostgreSQL version compatibility information.

We plan to perform validation tests (schema migration, functional checks), and are happy to share results if helpful.
