# Troubleshooting

## Common Issues

### App won't install
- **iOS**: Must use Safari (not Chrome)
- **Android**: Update Chrome to latest version
- **Desktop**: Check for install icon in address bar

### Lost password
- Unfortunately, encrypted data cannot be recovered
- Export unencrypted backup before enabling encryption
- You'll need to reset and start over

### Data not saving
- Check browser's localStorage isn't full
- Try clearing browser cache
- Ensure not in private/incognito mode

### Offline not working
- Visit the app online once first
- Wait for "App ready for offline use" message
- Don't clear browser data

### Calculations seem wrong
- Check usage rate (should be per day)
- Verify quantity is current
- Ensure no typos in numbers
