User Guide

Getting Started

First Time Setup

  1. Open the app in your browser
  2. You'll be prompted to enable encryption (recommended)
  3. Set a password you'll remember (no recovery possible)
  4. Start adding your inventory items

Navigation

  • Dashboard - Overview of your protection status
  • Inventory - Manage all supplies
  • Alerts - Items needing replacement
  • Scenarios - Protection recommendations
  • Vaccines - Track vaccination history
  • Resources - Science facts and tools
  • Import/Export - Backup your data

Core Features

Adding Inventory Items

  1. Go to Inventory → Add Item
  2. Enter details:
    • Name (e.g., "3M Aura N95")
    • Category (masks, filters, etc.)
    • Location (home, work, travel)
    • Quantity
    • Usage rate (per day)
    • Price (optional)
  3. Save

Understanding Calculations

  • Coverage Days = Quantity ÷ Usage Rate
  • Monthly Spend = Usage Rate × 30 × Price
  • Depletion Date = Today + Coverage Days

Risk Calculators

CO₂ Risk Assessment

  • <600 ppm - Excellent ventilation
  • 600-800 ppm - Good ventilation
  • 800-1000 ppm - Moderate risk
  • 1000-1500 ppm - High risk
  • >1500 ppm - Very high risk

Air Changes Per Hour (ACH)

  • <4 ACH - Poor, add filtration
  • 4-6 ACH - Adequate for low-risk
  • 6-12 ACH - Good ventilation
  • >12 ACH - Healthcare grade

Data Security

  • All data stored locally on your device
  • Optional AES-256 encryption
  • Auto-lock after 5 minutes inactivity
  • No cloud sync, no accounts needed

Tips & Tricks

  1. Set realistic usage rates - Track for a week to get accurate numbers
  2. Use locations - Helps identify gaps in protection
  3. Export regularly - Backup your data monthly
  4. Check alerts weekly - Stay ahead of replacements
  5. Update prices - Helps track spending accurately
