UI Theming Overhaul

Light, dark, and AMOLED modes now apply exclusively to book content, not the app UI. The UI is permanently dark by default for a cleaner, more consistent look.

Expressive Mode

A new Expressive toggle is available in settings. Enable it if you prefer a more colorful UI, or leave it off for a minimal appearance.

Canvas Mode Improvements

Added a page slider for quick navigation in canvas mode. Full-text search is now supported for PDFs with embedded text (does not apply to scanned/image-based PDFs).

Internet Archive Downloads

Books downloaded from Internet Archive are now saved directly to your device storage (Downloads folder), not just inside the app.

• In-App Search — Toggle the search bar to "Internet Archive" mode to explore the global database.
• Smart Format Picker — If a book is available in multiple formats, a prompt will let you choose between EPUB and PDF, complete with exact file sizes.
• Native Download Engine — A new real-time download progress indicator that runs seamlessly without freezing the device or causing UI lag.
• Seamless Auto-Import — Downloaded files are automatically merged, processed, and placed directly onto your library shelves.

PDF Canvas Mode

PDF books now support two distinct reading modes:

• Scroll Mode — A continuous scrolling reading experience.
• Canvas Mode — Preserves the original PDF page layout and appearance.

Both modes are treated as separate library entries and are displayed on separate shelves. Once imported, a book cannot be switched between Scroll Mode and Canvas Mode.

Canvas Mode Limitations

• AI Lookup is not available.
• Text selection and copying are not supported.
• Bookmark functionality is limited to page bookmarks only.
