For using memcached, you want to install and start the server. The tools should be installed for memcdump.
memcdump
On debian:
apt-get install libmemcached-tools libmemcached
Configure the json file :
"driver": "memcached",
Dump the database:
/usr/bin/memcdump --servers=localhost
Here is a snippet of what the dump might look like :
