FindASet 1.3 — transparency & polish

Housekeeping release: everything about the app's terms, credits and voices is now spotless, plus a round of macro-screen polish.

Transparency & licensing

  • First-run notice — a one-time, non-skippable dialog states plainly what FindASet is (a personal logging tool, not medical/dietary/fitness advice) and links the license & disclaimer before first use.
  • Male announcer voice replaced — now john (like kristin, trained purely on public-domain LibriVox recordings), so both bundled voices are free of any usage restrictions.
  • Complete third-party notices — THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md now covers every bundled component with full license texts, and Settings → About credits them in-app.
  • README rebuilt: clearer download / verify-authenticity guide, and a support link — FindASet stays free; donations via PayPal paypal.me/FAMarco are appreciated. 💛

Macros

  • FILL MACROS is pinned below the food log — reachable without scrolling, however long the day gets.
  • The ADD FOOD button lifted clear of it — the two bottom actions no longer overlap.
  • Denying the camera permission for the label scanner now shows a proper notice instead of failing silently.

Food database

  • Cooked chicken breast split into with-skin / skinless entries; new skinless turkey breast fillet.
  • Chicken-wing calories corrected; clearer names (lean/trimmed, low-fat) on several entries.
  • Reworked preference map so searches and the FILL MACROS pool pick the sensible default cut of each food.
