Thank you! It would be better if this was customizable though, I feel it goes against the whole philosophy of Pi to have such an unnecessary feature baked in permanently lol - this could absolutely be a plugin |

I am not sure this is the right way to go about this, but given that this issue was auto-closed and received zero comments from maintainers: #6393, I wanted to raise this question again here.
Given the minimal design of pi, would it make sense to either make the share feature an extension (moving it out of core), or at least allow users to disable the feature?
For comparison, OpenCode defaults to the same behaviour as pi (manual sharing), but OpenCode also allows the feature to be completely disabled.
