Can the code formatter wrap comment lines?

I can't get the C/C++ code formatter to wrap comment lines according to the max line width or at all. I have a vague recollection it used to work in the past, perhaps through a separate comment line width setting but I no longer see it. It's possible I'm confusing it with the Java formatter. Is this somehow supported in non-obvious ways?
