Examples
Runnable examples remain in the Milo source repository. The links here pin the 1.2.0-SNAPSHOT source used to prepare the guide.
Follow the client example instructions.
Many client examples start a local example server through ClientExampleRunner. Read the source
prerequisites for vendor-specific examples and workflows that connect to an external GDS.
Start with the first seven examples in order. Reverse Connect, GDS, and Alias Names are optional extensions. Each topic page outlines the corresponding guide.

ExampleServer starts the server and its namespaces. Read the following components in order to see how application behavior fits together:
- ExampleNamespace: Variables, references, types, and filters.
- DeviceNamespace and DeviceSamplingGroup: device data and sampling.
- SqrtMethod: a Method handler.
- GenerateEventMethod: generating an event.
- AlarmConditionsNamespace: Condition behavior.
These are components of the example server, not separate standalone programs. The Server SDK hub gives the guide's reading order.
Check each example's endpoint, server requirements, and credentials before running it. The public demo server details are maintained in the repository README.
