Possibility of creating node at the edge of a container.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to Sirius. I want to create a node represent the input/output port for my system.
It would looks good if I can create it on the edge of a container (like ports in an UML component diagram), not inside the box.
Can current version of Sirius achieve this feature? If yes, how? Is there any examples?

Yes this is supported in Sirius, under the new of "bordered nodes". They are defined exactly like sub-nodes, but from the "New Diagram Element > Bordered node" menu item:
