The biggest drawback for me to use this is the SSL/TLS verification difficulties when trying to connect to a Subsonic server. I have made my own certificate and do not need to trust it. The application Supersonic on Linux has "Skip SSL certificate verification" which makes it a breeze to connect to the server.
Is this something that you might consider implementing?
