/data/db folder does not exists

When launching the core, I get an error because the /data/db folder does not exists.
I think we should add it to the repo with a .gitkeep file, as it is vital to the launch of the project

You're absolutely right: the missing directory is causing a crash at startup. While adding a .gitkeep file to /data/db is a valid quick fix, your report helped me realize there's a deeper bug in how edgemining core handles database paths.

In the previous version using the SQLite connector, In the configure_persistence() functions of bootstrap I had a check to automatically create the directory if it didn't exist:

if db_dir and not os.path.exists(db_dir):
    logger.debug(f"Creating database directory: {db_dir}")
    os.makedirs(db_dir, exist_ok=True)

However, when I migrated to SQLAlchemy, this logic was accidentally omitted in the new persistence adapter. Since SQLAlchemy expects the path to already exist when using SQLite URLs (e.g., sqlite:///data/db/edgemining.db), the app fails if the folder is missing.

I am opening a Pull Request to re-implement the auto-creation logic within the SQLAlchemy connector.
