The developer guides carry the things that would otherwise be rediscovered the hard way - the INNER JOIN that silently drops an analyst-held asset, the scope check that agrees with itself for a session and not for an API key, the calendar category that must be remembered by id because renaming it is the right thing to do, the guard that runs after output and therefore does nothing, and the stylesheet version that made a fix reach nobody.
