SR Loom v2.0
Head-Tracking added!
Three Head Tracking protocols co-broadcast by default, so that head-tracking games that communicate with them can use SR display's Head Tracking!
Supported Tracking Protocols:
- OpenTrack UDP. Modern tracking system, used by modern head tracking modders like Loop and Berzerker on games like Outer Wilds, NieR Automata and Batman Arkham Asylum.
- FreeTrack 2.0 Enhanced. Slightly older tracking system, useful for older games or games modded with it, like Morrowind
- TrackIR (NaturalPoint NPClient) — Protocol used by TrackIR for games like iRacing and other sim games.
Supported tracking directions:
- Default tracking is X, Y, Z, Yaw, Pitch. Positional and Rotational tracking.
- Alternatively, X, Y, Z is recommended for purely Positional tracking (though some rotational tracking sneaks through due to being tracked from eye position)
- Pitch, Yaw and Roll is also possible, but not recommended. Roll is best left disabled, but can be used if you wish.
The tracking uses the same data as SR-native head-tracked titles (The First Berserker: Khazan, Lies of P, Stellar Blade, Hell is Us), though they use X, Y, Z positions only, not rotational tracking, giving this an optional advantage. Yoiu cna choose to only use X, Y, Z as well.
This feature is always on running, waiting for you to boot up a game that supports or has had modded in head-tracking, so the tracking will just work on launch. It can be disabled at any time separately from the 3D weaving.
