🤝 Cross-Call Delegation — Claude Code ↔ Codex
Bidirectional task delegation between Claude Code and Codex is now stable.
Claude Code → Codex
/lazycodex refactor the auth module to use dependency injection
Codex → Claude Code
$lazycc review this PR for security issues
What's included
--dangerously-skip-permissionsby default —$lazycc//lazyccruns Claude Code in full-auto mode, no permission prompts- Codex skill support —
$lazyccinstalled to~/.codex/skills/lazycc/(Codex uses$skillsyntax, not/command) - PATH expansion — handles sandbox environments where nvm/volta paths are stripped
- Installation guides on error — if the target CLI is missing, shows step-by-step install instructions instead of a cryptic error
- Updated README with correct usage syntax for both directions
Install / Upgrade
npx lazy-claudecode@latest installv0.1.18
Codex /lazycc slash command support
Problem: /lazycc showed "Unrecognized command" in Codex TUI because Codex uses ~/.codex/skills/<name>/SKILL.md for slash commands, not ~/.codex/agents/ (which are sub-agent definitions).
Fix:
- Added
codex-skills/lazycc/SKILL.mdfollowing the same format as native Codex skills (ask-claude,help, etc.) - Installer now copies skill files to
~/.codex/skills/whenclaudeCLI is available - Includes PATH expansion for sandbox environments + installation guide when
claudenot found
After update: npx lazy-claudecode@latest install → /lazycc now works in both Claude Code AND Codex.
v0.1.17
Improved error messages with installation guides
- /lazycodex: When
codexCLI not found, shows step-by-step installation guide with links to:@openai/codex(Codex CLI)- LazyCodex (agent harness)
- /lazycc: When
claudeCLI not found, shows installation guide with link to Claude Code docs - Better node version discovery (
sort -V) for PATH expansion - Clearer numbered-step command structure
v0.1.16
Fix: codex/claude binary not found in Claude Code sandbox (exit 127)
Problem
Claude Code's Bash sandbox strips user PATH, so codex (installed via nvm/volta) isn't found — command not found: codex (exit 127).
Fix
Commands now prepend common binary locations before invoking CLI:
~/.nvm/versions/node/*/bin~/.volta/bin~/.local/bin/opt/homebrew/bin/usr/local/bin
Upgrade
npx lazy-claudecode@latest installv0.1.15
Fix: /lazycodex 'Unknown command' error
Problem
Claude Code 2.1 didn't reliably resolve agent: frontmatter field in ~/.claude/commands/, causing Unknown command: /lazycodex + Args from unknown skill errors.
Fix
Replaced agent: + subtask: pattern with allowed-tools: Bash — commands now invoke CLI directly in the command body, following the codex-plugin-cc pattern.
Changes
commands/lazycodex.md:agent: lazycodex-delegate→allowed-tools: Bash(codex:*)+ directcodex execinvocationcommands/lazycc.md:agent: lazycc-delegate→allowed-tools: Bash(claude:*)+ directclaude -pinvocationagents/*.mdfiles retained for backward compatibility (Codex native TUI)- Installer comments updated
Upgrade
npx lazy-claudecode@latest installv0.1.14
What's Changed
- feat(installer): auto-install lazycc-codex-plugin companion + CI fixes
- chore: bump version to 0.1.14
Full Changelog: v0.1.13...v0.1.14
v0.1.13
feat(cross-call): Codex native agent (.toml) for @lazycc-delegate
- Codex TUI에서
@lazycc-delegatemention으로 Claude Code 호출 가능 - Installer가
~/.codex/agents/에 .toml 복사 +config.toml자동 등록 - README에 Cross-Call 섹션 추가
- LazyCodex 소스 변경 없음
v0.1.12
feat: /lazycc and /lazycodex slash commands for intuitive cross-agent delegation
v0.1.11
Fix: full permissions for cross-call agents
- Codex delegate: added
--skip-git-repo-check -s workspace-write— fixes 'Not inside a trusted directory' error - Claude Code delegate: switched to
--dangerously-skip-permissions— no more tool approval prompts blocking delegation
Both agents now run without permission gates so cross-call delegation works seamlessly.
