This one is still open source and will remain so, and its Apache 2.0 license allows anyone to fork it and continue to make improvements.

The Agent Builder MCP server is a different product with different goals and, thus, different licensing choices made by Elastic. We just don't have the resources at present to actively maintain both. ❤️
