How to configure autoUpdater?

I am very new to this but I am able to build a squirrel release but how do I configure the hosting? I don't want to publish to github (it's a private repo). I wonder is it possible to just host the release files on a web server? If so, where do I configure this?

Some pointers would be really helpful.
