Cannot launch System Settings from the dock and applications menu

What Happened?

System Settings won't launch by clicking the icon in the dock and applications menu on latest Daily.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Make sure your Daily installation is up to date
2. Click the System Settings icon in the dock or applications menu
3. System Settings does not launch even after a while

Expected Behavior

System Settings launches by clicking the icon in the dock and applications menu.

8.x Early Access

Session Type

Classic Session (X11, This is the default)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)
