Why do .eex files not get formatted when saved?

Hey,

When I have mix_format on_save: true, regular elixir files get formatted as expected but .heex files not.

Is there any way to format them on save?

Hey!

I checked it out and at the moment it only allows running mix format on Elixir syntax files. I created a branch where I've fixed the issue, to allow more source file types. However, in my tests, mix format was run but didn't do anything on .heex files. I presume that there's a setting missing in the .formatter.exs file?

Yes you need changes to the project's .formatter.exs
