Its possible resize just one dimension of image?

I have a image 200x200 and using the Image.resize/2 both width and height are resized, I want resize just the with or the image height. Its possible? And how can I achieve this?

Image.resize/2 is a scaling function and probably not what you're after.

I would recommend using Image.thumbnail/3 with something like Image.thumbnail(my_image, "200x400"). Or if you want to keep the aspect ratio of the image Image.thumbnail(my_image, 400) will ensure the longest side is 400px and the shortest size is resized to keep the aspect ratio.

There are a lot of other options to Image.thumbnail/3 so let me know if you have any other questions.

Oh thanks for the fast feedback! I tried use Image.thumbnail(image, "200x400") but this does not works I continue getting the same proportional image, and I do not want keep the aspect ratio. Probally Im doing some messy, here the code:

Ah, yes, to change aspect ratio you will need to add the resize: :force option.
