endless loop of asking to fetch deps

I have a bunch of projects in a monorepo. Expert is forever hassling me to install the deps in the first one. I say yes, it does some stuff then asks me again. Rinse and repeat.

Patch is one of the engine dependencies that we're not namespacing(I don't recall exactly which issues it caused to do so, but this happened before expert), I wonder if it's a version mismatch between the engine patch and the project patch

@doorgan should Patch even be present in the engine build? Is there a reason we compile it with dev Mix env and not prod?

@katafrakt I don't think it should but I don't recall why it is, I tried removing it from dev env and it still shows up in completions.
We do need to compile the engine in dev env though, because we need to use Mix for a bunch of tasks(calling mix tasks for compiling, for instance, or to get the Mix project details)

From the latest comments it seems this happens even if the user is not using Patch, so it seems my guess was wrong

You can run mix tasks in prod env too. But you are right, it's not an issue here. I think we should add additional logging to when the deps issue is detected.
