Hi, I'm Ella Fontenot

iOS Engineer | AI Tooling | Full-Stack Developer | Startup Founder

I'm a software engineer passionate about building solutions that simplify and inspire. Most recently, I was a Software Engineer at a stealth AI startup in Palo Alto, working on agentic coding R&D, and before that I co-founded Whim Social where I built a production iOS app from scratch that reached 300+ beta users across Stanford and UCSC. Previously worked at Go Car Insurance as an intern on their mobile app (https://github.com/gomaps).

I'm interested in the intersection of mobile development and AI—whether it's engineering real-time geofencing interactive systems, designing efficient database schemas, or integrating custom agents into user-facing products; With the goal of reducing some of the chaos of life through useful and intiutive technology. When I'm not coding, you'll probably find me surfing (ranked 11th nationally in NSSA women's division).
