Future changes

The present

JALSE is currently on Initial release. This release is JALSEs first release and involves producing a stable core framework that is well defined and documented.

JALSE is working towards Utility release. This release mainly involves producing bolt-on utility libraries to make creating JALSE simulations easier. A remote ActionEngine implementation and persistence API should be features for this.

The near future

JALSE makes good use of the issues page for concerns as well as Enhancements. Here you can see what is currently being worked or are being thought about - why not request something?

The distant future

The aim is for the JALSE community to grow so the product can organically grow with it. The framework is generic and dynamic - this means it can be used for a variety of different situations but also means there may be a lot of ground work to get a simulation running smoothly. Libraries to support common use-cases would speed up development and increase popularity.
