Given the following:

  • relative inactivity of the main project
  • the need for npm v3 support in a growing number of projects that depend on tiny-lr
  • this is a repeat pattern of abandonment by the project authors (see https://github.com/trevordixon/teeny-lr, a previous fork from a year and a half ago made for the same purpose)

It seems that the best course of action to unblock those who need npm v3 support is to fork this project and release the master branch. Development will continue on this project as necessary unless/until the project creators reactivate the original project with the intent to actively maintain it.
