There really are four sub-steps involved with "pack":

1. Zipping the content into the zip file
2. Pushing the zip file to git LFS
3. Pulling the zip file from Git LFS
4. Unzipping the content

I'd suggest separating into two commands (pack and unpack) rather than pack -u.

Pack does steps 1 and 2, and Unpack does steps 3 and 4, correct?

actually, pack only does step 1.... i realize this is asymmetrical, but the git lfs commands are so complex that it's better to subsume them in pack -u.... the latter form of the command also (tacitly) invokes git lfs install as well as does all of its operations lazily....

I'm really just suggesting that there be an unpack command rather than pack -u.
