App is preventing shutdown/reboot

Hi,

the App is preventing me from shuting down / rebooting my pc. I get the message the shutdown was prevented by ""
I'm on Fedora 43. If i close the App it's working as it should.

Thanks for the report. I'm pretty sure I've identified it.

The tray app was registering a Window.Closing handler that unconditionally cancelled the close and hid the window, this is what makes "X" close-to-tray behaviour work. The problem is that Avalonia routes OS-driven close requests (session end, logout, shutdown) through the same Closing event, so the cancel got interpreted by the session manager as the app vetoing shutdown. The empty "" reason is consistent with that pat, it's the session manager's "client refused to exit" message, not a systemd-logind inhibitor.

Fix is in main (596d31d) for 1.0.4.2: the handler now only swallows the close when CloseReason == WindowClosing (i.e. the user clicked X). ApplicationShutdown / OSShutdown close requests pass through and the lifetime exits cleanly.

I don't publish a Fedora packag, could you either build from main or grab the linux-x64 tarball from the next release (1.0.4.2) once it's cut, and confirm shutdown/reboot is no longer blocked? I can't reproduce locally, so a quick verification on your Fedora 43 system would be very helpful.

Hi,

i've switched to Arch since the report, but had the same problem there. 1.0.4.4 is now working. If i have to guess, it'll work on Fedora too.
