Hello, I am currently testing Emberr v.1.2. I am really amazed by the quality of this work, and as a user of Coda (now Superhuman Docs), I am absolutely delighted to finally find an opensource app proposing an approaching philosophy. Okay, it's already v1.2 but only a few days ago I see you mentioned "rough edges" of a beta. All I do see is such a sleek app ! So many thanks for making such a gift to the opensource community and the users in general !!! I have a few questions :

Hey, many thanks for your openness and reactivity to features requests, and for already integrating mine ! Regarding tables deletion, I just retested it. For simple tables (no databases), I cannot delete them. I try to long press on any cell, it opens a collapsible menu where I can indeed delete a row or a column, but not the whole table. And if I long press just above or under the table, it selects the empty space as a distinct element. For a database, in my opinion there is a UX problem :
Thus I would kindly advise that you add the "delete" option in the collapsible menu that already contains the "rename" option. Thanks again for your work on this app ! |
