Original Issue

Goal

The WordPress migration story should be validated as an end-to-end workflow, not only as isolated importer units.

Scope

Create a realistic WordPress export fixture and acceptance test that exercises the migration features users care about.

Acceptance criteria

• Fixture includes posts, pages, media, taxonomies, custom fields, SEO metadata, featured images, and redirects where applicable.
• Import preserves enough content and URL behavior for a real migration smoke test.
• Test runs in the relevant runtime or clearly documents what it covers.
• Failures point to actionable importer or template problems.
• Documentation reflects the supported migration path.
