Support or document example with Sqlalchemy Declarative

Not sure if what I'm asking here is #76 since I'm not that familiar with sqlalchemy. I've seen various places define sqlalchamy tables by inheriting from sqlalchemy.ext.declarative.declarative_base().

There's no examples for using it with databases so I assume it just isn't possible?

Correct. That's an ORM-level construct, which databases isn't intended to be.
