When the player-character has health, we will need to display this on the screen somehow. Some open questions:

  1. How should health be displayed?
  2. Should this be part of the HUD; should it be visible above the player-character's head; or somewhere else?
    a. If it's part of the HUD, how does it interact with the lives indicator? (Design HUD for lives #1387)
  3. Is it always visible, or only once the player takes damage?
  4. Is it visible in levels/area where you cannot take damage (e.g. Fray's End, sequence puzzle) or is it always visible?
