👋 Welcome!

This is the community space for PFR Sentinel, the 24/7 monitoring and overlay app for observatories and all-sky cameras.

Where to post

• ❓ Q&A / Help: setup, ZWO cameras, directory watch with NINA, overlays, Discord/web output
• 🌌 All-sky calibration: fisheye calibration, star overlays, meteor detection
• 🧩 NINA plugin: the dockable widget and sequencer instructions
• 💡 Ideas: feature suggestions. Upvote the ones you'd use!
• 🔭 Show your setup: rigs, sky frames, timelapses. We'd love to see them.
• 💬 General: anything else

🐛 Found a bug?

Please open an Issue instead. It's much easier to track and fix there.

Before asking for help

1. Check the Wiki.
2. Search existing discussions.
3. Include your Sentinel version, capture mode (ZWO camera or directory watch), and camera model.
4. If you can, attach a diagnostics bundle. Secrets and your location are removed automatically.

A note on response times

Sentinel is built and maintained by one person, around observing nights and a day job. Replies may take a day or two, and community answers are hugely appreciated.

Please be kind and constructive, and follow the GitHub Community Guidelines.

Clear skies! ✨

Feature request: Could the Nina plugin pull targets, and trace them into the AllSky overlay?
