An archetype is a Maven project templating toolkit offering original pattern/model from which all other things of the same kind are made. In this perspective, entando-archetypes provides patterns to kickstart your basic Entando web applicaton development and components.
entando-archetypes provides the archetypes of:
- Bundle for Content Type, Theme, Widget
- Plugin
- Generic portal
- Boostrap based portal
A Maven project is characterized by:
- a groupId is generally unique amongst an organization or a project

- version is the version of the project
Maven will ask these to you in three steps. Finally, Maven will ask you the package structure for your code.

- artifactId -> entando-archetype-bundle-content
- bundle-theme provides the archetype of theme's bundle. It is characterized by:

- bundle-widget provides the archetype of widget's bundle. It is characterized by:
- artifactId -> entando-archetype-bundle-widget-generic
- plugin provides the archetype for plugin. It is characterized by:
- artifactId -> entando-archetype-plugin-generic
