I made a "quick Hack" just to test if its better to limit the number of parallel chunks. Here I set it fixed to maximal 10 parallel chunks and the system is much more responsive for other things because of not using up all resources at once. Maybe you can think about implementing this into your library in your own style (I'm an old fashioned javascript kid from the early days). The "hack" is based on your latest dist. |

there should be an Option to control the number of parallelChunkUploads. Large files (e.g. 5Gb) with more than hundreds of chunks will bring down the Uploadprocess by an overload of resources in the chain. I would like to limit this numbers of parallel chunks. If I switch off parallel Uploads by parallelChunkUploads=false it will really slow down the transfer of such big files. So maybe 10-20 might be a good number.
There exist a closed issue about that already (#1718), but without solution.
