Performance Benchmarking for the Apple II computer family Use this tool to get a general performance evaluation of your machine, accelerator or emulator.
Download the a2speed.po file, for it on an image, or read the basic code in the applesoft folder.
This is a work in progress. Currently supports the IIgs clock, No-slot-clock, TimeMaster and MegaFlash clocks. As of this writing, the software tests some basic math and computational functions in Applesoft. Future versions will also run the same tests coded in assembly.
Future tests will include additional functionality, such as storage performance tests, video performance tests, etc.
