v0.10.3
Features
- Bot message limit setting (default 30, 0 = off, with warning)
handoff_hold: child chats can send progress without closing their handoff
Fixes
- Report-back arrives when the child chat really finishes, not at its first progress update
- No duplicate reports when a parent re-messages a held child
v0.10.2
Fixes
- Skills no longer gain an extra name heading each time an agent loads and saves them; existing skills are cleaned up on upgrade.
- External MCP tool calls in Codex, Claude and OpenCode chats now time out after 10 minutes instead of hanging a chat for hours.
- Linking tickets no longer shows a second "created" notification.
- The "waiting for approval" hand is now easy to see in the light theme.
- Ticket statuses no longer wrap onto two lines in the
#mention picker.
v0.10.1
Heads-up
- Closing the window now keeps Patio running: it hides in the Dock on macOS and minimizes on Windows and Linux, so replies, scheduled tasks, monitors and Telegram keep working. Quit from the app menu (⌘Q). You can turn this off in Settings › Background.
Features
- Telegram: chat with Patio from your phone. Connect a bot in Connections › Channels and allow your Telegram ID, and your messages go into normal chats with your default bot.
- Replies arrive formatted.
- Approvals and questions come as buttons.
- You can send photos and files.
/newstarts a chat./continuepicks a recent chat or takes a pasted chat link.
- Connections: connectors, MCP servers and Channels now live on one page with AI, Tools (MCP) and Channels tabs, under a single sidebar item.
- Ticket attachments: paste or drop images and files into ticket descriptions, comments and the new-ticket dialog.
- Images show inline, and clicking a file shows it in Finder.
- Bots get the file paths.
- An Attachments list shows them all.
- Paused chats: a ⏸ shows in the chat list and on pinned tabs.
- Queued messages: click one to edit it before it's sent.
- Memories: bots can now limit a memory to any set of bots, not just themselves.
- Bell: bot and workflow changes made by the AI now show up there.
- Tour: Settings has a link to replay it, and the tour covers the new features.
Fixes
- Dropping several files on the chat input or a ticket now attaches all of them.
- Sending a message right as an idle chat closes no longer fails with "chat turn already running".
- Long tour steps stay on screen.
- Move notifications show the column name instead of an ID.
v0.10.0
Heads-up
- Patio now runs on Wails v3. macOS 13 (Ventura) or newer is required. The Linux build needs a GTK4 distro (e.g. Ubuntu 24.04+).
- Saved view preferences (theme, drafts, layout) reset once after updating.
- Quit the old Patio before opening this version.
Features
- Train your bots: limit skills and memories to specific bots from a skill's Available to picker or the new Training section on a bot's page. Each chat only gets its own bot's items plus shared ones. Deleting a bot deletes the items only it had.
- Patio MCP:
list_skillsshows each item's bots and filters by bot;create_skill/update_skilltakebots. Chats without a bot and outside MCP clients can manage every skill and memory. - New chat dialog: pick the bot, with your default bot preselected; a bot's own connector and model are applied.
- Searchable dropdowns: long lists get a search box, and items can show a one-line description.
- Chat windows now open in the same Patio process; clicking the Dock icon reopens the main window when only chat windows are open.
- The version label moved to the bottom-right corner of the page.
Fixes
- Bots no longer wait 30 minutes for each other when a review sends fixes back.
- Spanish text no longer overflows the tour card buttons or dropdowns.
v0.9.9
Features
- Tickets: Comments, History and Transitions now show the newest first, with an Order dropdown to switch to oldest first. Your choice is remembered.
- Sidebar: the Patio kid logo now sits next to "Patio".
Fixes
- Chats keep scrolling to the latest output while a reply runs, including thinking text, tool results and images.
- Late scheduled runs show a gray clock and "late" instead of a clipped "Ran late" label, in the expanded and collapsed chat list, in English and Spanish.
- The ⋯ button on pinned chat groups is smaller, sits inside the row like on chats, and shows a hover state on the active group.
- Narrow windows: tighter spacing in the chat header (New chat, groups and tabs).
- The version label in the sidebar is left-aligned.
v0.9.8
Fixes
- The pin groups menu in the collapsed chat list opens toward the chat area, so its labels are no longer cut off under the sidebar
v0.9.7
Changes
- Chat list rows are cleaner: the pin button is gone. Pin and unpin from the row's ⋯ menu (or right-click), and pinned chats show a small pin in the row's corner that unpins on click
- The ⋯ button now sits inside the chat row, so titles get more room
v0.9.6
Features
- Child chats nest under their parent in the chat list (caret, handoff count, running state)
- Copy chat links, mention chats with
[[, drag a chat into the message box - AI-written short chat titles after the first reply (your renames win; off switch in Settings; OpenCode titles run with all tools off)
- Image attachment preview on hover (with a fade) and a full-size view on click
- Drafts per chat: text and attachments survive switching chats
Fixes
- Flow graph nodes no longer disappear while it refreshes; wide runs fit on screen
- No more scrollbar on the whole window; version label moved into the sidebar footer
- Attachments can be removed while a reply is running
- Bots refer to "the question card" instead of "above"
