Introducing TaxonReportViewer (TRV), an open-source, cross-platform GUI software designed to simplify the exploration, comparison, and visualization of Kraken2 taxonomic classification outputs, now with Braken output support. Interpreting hierarchical, text-based metagenomic reports is a challenge, and existing tools often lack standalone interactivity or flexibility for comparative analysis. TRV bridges this gap, offering an intuitive and efficient way to derive biological insights from complex metagenomic datasets.
